Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in SNFs. This no-call, Monday–Friday role lets you apply vascular expertise to wound care while maintaining surgical skills. Flexible full- or part-time arrangements support work-life balance in a thriving practice.

The position offers per-patient and per-procedure pay with quarterly bonuses and opportunities to work across facilities in the Baton Rouge area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome Vascular Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds; no prior wound care experience required; wound care training provided

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute setting
