Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking MDs/DOs to join a national wound care physician group, operating as independent contractors to deliver hands-on patient care in nursing facilities with full clinical autonomy.

You’ll be a mobile wound care physician, make independent decisions, and benefit from a streamlined system that minimizes administrative burden. Compensation includes per-visit and per-procedure pay, with a bonus program and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Residency not required; Board Certification/Eligibility not required to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities as a mobile physician.
• Make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes with autonomy.
• Operate as a 1099 independent contractor; documentation and billing are managed by Skilled Wound Care.
