Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is a national wound care physician group seeking MDs and DOs who want true autonomy as independent contractors and to practice medicine without hospital overhead. As a mobile wound care physician, you will provide hands-on care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities, make clinical decisions, and manage outcomes while we handle billing and contracts.

No call, no weekends. This role offers flexibility, a 1099 arrangement, and strong earning potential with training support

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Residency completion not required; Board Certification/Eligibility not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities.
• Make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes with autonomy.
• Operate as a 1099 independent contractor with no overhead; we handle contracts and billing.
