Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking MDs/DOs to join as mobile wound care physicians in nursing facilities. You’ll provide direct wound care, make clinical decisions, and enjoy true autonomy as an independent contractor with minimal overhead.

You will be paid per patient visit and per procedure, with a quarterly bonus program up to 30%, and comprehensive training including biannual CME conferences. No on-call, no weekends, and full support in a flexible practice.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Residency not required to thrive in this role.
• Board Certification/Eligibility not required to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities.
• Make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes.
• Operate as a mobile wound care physician and independent contractor; we handle the rest.
