Job summary

Intermountain Health in Henderson, NV and Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Wound Care Physician to help build a new clinic and deliver essential wound care services.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with a schedule of four 10-hour days; benefits include generous package, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance, and CME allowance to support ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine; Wound Care Certification.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one.
• Must successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Help build a brand-new wound care clinic from the ground up and deliver essential wound care services.
• Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Practice at District Clinic in Henderson, NV and Rainbow Clinic in Las Vegas, NV; schedule is 4 x 10-hour days.

About this role

As an experienced Wound Care Physician you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will be part of building a brand-new wound care clinic from the ground up, helping to establish and deliver essential wound care services to the community.

You will practice our District Clinic in Henderson, NV and Rainbow Clinic in Las Vegas, NV. Clinic Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Your schedule will be 4 – 10hr days.

What you’ll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine, Wound Care Certification
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
