Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Wound Care Physician to help build a brand-new wound care clinic in Henderson, NV, with coverage also at Rainbow Clinic in Las Vegas. Expect 40 hours weekly, Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm, with a 4–10 hour day schedule.

You bring MD/DO, FM/IM residency, and board eligibility or certification; NV license/DEA and prescriptive authority are required or obtainable. We offer comprehensive benefits and CME support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Residency in Family or Internal Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine; Wound Care Certification preferred
• 1–2 years of experience preferred
• Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain one; DEA registration
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Full prescriptive authority or ability to obtain one
• No visa sponsorship required at this time

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a brand-new wound care clinic in Henderson and Las Vegas.
• Provide wound care and medical management with a patient-centered approach.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure quality care and excellent patient experience.
• Support credentialing and regulatory processes and participate in ongoing professional development.

About this role:

As an experiencedWound Care Physician you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will be part of building a brand-new wound care clinic from the ground up, helping to establish and deliver essential wound care services to the community.

• You will practice our District Clinic in Henderson, NV and Rainbow Clinic in Las Vegas, NV
• Clinic Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Your schedule will be 4 – 10hr days

Whatyou’ll bring:

• Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine

• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
