Intermountain Health is seeking a Post-Acute Hospitalist physician to provide post-acute care in designated facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada. You will manage admissions, rounding, care coordination, diagnoses and treatment, and discharge planning.
The role includes supervising one physician and one advanced practitioner at each location, requires MD or DO with Family/Internal Medicine residency, board certification or eligibility, and a Nevada license (or ability to obtain).

Post-Acute Hospitalist, Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide post-acute care in the designated facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada. You are responsible for admissions, rounding, coordinating the patients over all care, diagnosis and treatment, discharging and documenting patient outcomes.
There are 9 providers covering 6 locations. Each location will be comprised of 1 physician and 1 advanced practitioner provider, whom you would supervise.
Patient daily patient consensus is between 18-20. Facility is subject to change if there is a shift in the patient volume.
This position includes a sign on bonus up to $25,000.00.
You will practice at Coronado Ridge, 2855 West Horizon Ridge Henderson, Nevada 89052.
Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm / work every 3rd weekend. When working every 3rd weekend, you will cover additional practice locations up to 3. Night call is one night a week, telephonically. Hours are 5pm- 8 am.

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine. Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine. Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine. Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one. Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process. We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time.
