De Luna Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Weekend Wound Care/Treatment Nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based wound care and assessments on every other weekend. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to update care plans and educate residents and families on best practices.

Applicants must hold a Florida RN or LPN license in good standing, with experience in wound care or long-term care preferred.

• Current Florida RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in wound care or long-term care is preferred.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Compassionate, dependable professional dedicated to high-quality resident care.

Responsabilités

• Perform wound assessments and provide evidence-based wound care treatments.
• Complete skin assessments and monitor residents for changes in skin integrity.
• Administer treatments and dressings as ordered by the physician.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and treatment best practices.
