Villa At Parkridge is seeking a Wound Care Nurse LPN to provide routine nursing care per residents’ care plans and physician orders in a skilled nursing setting. This role focuses on wound care, ostomy, or continence needs within a team-driven environment.

The successful candidate will have an active Michigan LPN license, CPR certification, and 1 year of preferred LTC experience. Good communication and infection-control practices are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Current LPN license in the state of Michigan.
• CPR certification is required.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Aufgaben

• Provide routine nursing care per assessments and care plans.
• Direct day-to-day tasks of nursing assistants.
• Evaluate skin integrity and prevent ulcers in at-risk residents.
• Administer medications and document accurately.
• Transcribe physician orders to charts and MAR.
• Coordinate with other services to maintain resident care.
• Ensure infection prevention standards are followed.
• Complete admission, transfer and discharge paperwork.
• Report on shift activities and outcomes.
