Job summary

Charleston-AMG Specialty Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, SC, is seeking a Full-Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to evaluate and treat wounds in a long-term acute care setting. Provide direct and indirect patient care, communicate with physicians and staff, and respond promptly to clinical changes per treatment policies.

Wound Care certification is preferred; current SC RN/LPN licensure, BLS, and ACLS are required. Six months to one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current SC RN or LPN licensure.
• Current certification of wound care preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year’s work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and existing in/outpatients' wounds and monitor and treat per policies.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and coworkers, including diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision.

Wound Care certification preferred!
