Job summary

Charleston-AMG Specialty Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, SC, is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Liaison (RN, LPN, RT).

The CL reports to the CEO and collaborates with CEOs, Admission Coordinators, and the Corporate Team to drive patient census by cultivating referral sources and educating facilities and providers. The role involves evaluating medical necessity, educational outreach, and conducting facility tours to promote the services we provide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree required or preferred.
• Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• 2+ years healthcare-related marketing experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license and up-to-date insurance.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospital services by cultivating relationships with referral sources.
• Conduct educational presentations and provide facility tours.
• Help drive patient census in the hospital.

TheClinical Liaison (CL) reports directly to the hospital Chief Executive Officer.They work with other Clinical/Community Liaisons, CEOs, Admission Coordinators,and the Corporate Team to help consistently drive patient census in the hospital.The CL will promote the hospital services by cultivating relationships withreferral sources, conducting educational presentations and providing facilitytours. The average census of the hospital provides a “group performanceindicator for the CL team” and the Admit-Referral report provides a “specificperformance indicator for the individual CL.” There are two basic parts to theCL role: evaluate the patient for medical necessity and educate referringfacilities, providers, and the community on the services in which we provide.
