Job summary

Charleston-AMG Specialty Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, SC is seeking a Full Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to evaluate wounds, monitor healing, and coordinate care with the treatment team.

Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, timely communication with physicians, and adherence to wound care policies. Certification in wound care is preferred and BLS/ACLS are required. Day shift roles available.

Qualifications

• Current Wound Care certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year’s work experience preferred.

Charleston-AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a Full Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to evaluate new and existing in/out patient’s wound and monitors and treats the wound as per treatment policies and procedures. Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Wound Care certification preferred!
