Job summary

Aviata Health Group seeks a Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join Aviata at the Sea - Pompano Beach, FL. You will provide wound care, develop treatment plans, educate residents and families, and monitor outcomes with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Wound Care and CPR certifications, an active Florida RN or LPN license, and 1 year wound care experience (2 years preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess current Wound Care and CPR certifications.
• Minimum of one year wound care experience, two years preferred.
• Must possess a current, active Florida license as RN or LPN.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the Wound Specialist Physician and the nursing staff
• Participate in the development and achievement of Wound Care Program and objectives
• Provide educational programming and staff development functions
• Assist in the implementation and monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to promote wound healing
• Provide direct resident care in the assessment, treatment, and follow-up for wound management
• Assist in the implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident
