Qualifications

• Current State RN license
• BLS certification by start date
• Must complete wound care training within 90 days of start date
• One year of related RN experience

Responsibilities

• Preserve skin integrity by implementing and monitoring skin preservation strategies.
• Ensure wound and skin care protocols are approved by medical staff.
• Organize weekly multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds for high-risk patients and those with current ulcers and other wounds.
• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a resource to hospital staff on wound and skin care issues.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met

Minimum Qualifications

• AD (Associate's degree in Nursing) required.


• One (1) year of related experience required.


• Valid State RN License.


• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.


• Must complete wound care training in the first 90 days in the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
