Job summary

Rush Specialty Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) to support wound and skin care initiatives. This PRN/Per Diem role offers $56.00 per hour and company-paid parking.

The RN will organize weekly multidisciplinary rounds, provide hands-on wound care for challenging cases, and act as a wound care resource for clinical staff, while ensuring regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• AD (Associate's degree in Nursing) required.
• One (1) year of related experience required.
• Valid State RN License.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Must complete wound care training in the first 90 days in the role.

Responsibilities

• Organize multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds on a weekly basis for high-risk patients and those with current wounds.
• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a resource to hospital staff on wound and skin care.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
