Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Detroit is seeking a Wound Care Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) to provide expert wound care for critically ill patients. The role offers a full-time schedule with a competitive hourly compensation of $40.64 to $54.00, based on experience.

You will join a large team dedicated to world-class inpatient post-ICU care. Responsibilities include leading skin rounds, implementing wound care protocols, and serving as a resource for staff.

Qualifications

• AD is required.
• One year of related RN experience.
• Valid state RN license.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Must complete wound care training within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Preserve and monitor skin integrity using established wound care protocols.
• Organize multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds weekly for high-risk patients.
• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult or non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a resource to hospital staff on wound and skin care issues.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• AD (Associate's degree in Nursing) required.
