Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Quad Cities is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide specialized wound and skin care, monitor healing progress, and collaborate with physicians and staff to implement care plans.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN, is a licensed RN, and has BLS certification, with at least one year of related experience; BSN preferred. Comprehensive benefits and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• AD (Associate's degree in Nursing) required.
• One (1) year of related experience required.
• Valid State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.
• Must complete wound care training in the first 90 days in the role.

Responsibilities

• Preserve skin integrity and monitor skin preservation strategies.
• Ensure wound and skin care protocols are approved by the medical staff.
• Organize multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds weekly for high-risk patients and those with current pressure ulcers.
• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a resource to hospital staff on wound and skin care.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

Schedule: Full Time - Monday- Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
