Job summary

PACS is seeking a Treatment Nurse to ensure effective and compliant care for residents in a post-acute setting. You will act under the Director of Nursing and deliver prescribed treatments, medications, and wound care while upholding facility policies and quality standards.

The role requires an RN or LVN license, CPR certification, and at least two years in long-term care. Strong communication and compassionate patient interaction are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must maintain continuing education for licensing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with residents and families about Plans of Care and treatment protocols.
• Provide resident care including carrying out physician orders and medication administration.
• Document nursing notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Observe and assess wounds and other conditions with timely physician notification.
• Assist in updating and implementing care plans; coordinate with physicians and healthcare staff.
