Job summary

Palm Careers is seeking a Locum Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient role near Roswell, NM. You’ll manage topical wound care treatments and stay on a 13-week assignment with extension potential.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00, with no on-call duties and travel coverage included. NM license active is preferred; wound care certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Wound care management and topical therapies required.
• Active NM license preferred; certification in wound care is a plus.
• Locum 13-week assignment with potential extension; 1099 compensation with travel covered.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with wounds in an outpatient setting.
• Develop and implement wound care plans and product usage.
• Document care and coordinate with supervising clinician as needed.

Job description

We are hiring for a LOCUM Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant near Roswell, New Mexico (NM). In this 100% outpatient role the provider will apply and manage topical wound care treatments and management products. Come out and spend some time in our community and help out on out. Our daily census is not over crazy with about 18-20 daily.

Start: ASAP

End: 13 weeks HIGH likelihood of extension!!

Schedule: M-F, 0800 - 1700, no call and all outpatient coverage!

Will wait on License, NM is preferred to be active!

Wound Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
