Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Inpatient Rehabiliation Hospital in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (Registered Nurse) to lead the wound care program and implement evidence-based protocols in collaboration with Select Medical wound care experts.

This PRN position requires a valid RN license, prior hospital nursing experience, and BLS certification. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and participation in a broad patient care team committed to excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• Previous hospital nursing experience required.
• Certified BLS required.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Leads the wound care program, setting standards of care across hospitals with wound care experts.
• Develops and deploys evidence-based clinical protocols and algorithms for wound management.
• Collaborates with Medical leadership on wound care initiatives, research questions, and outcomes.
• Develops educational modules for wound care for internal and external education.
• Analyzes wound patterns to identify PI activities to improve outcomes.
• Coordinates competency evaluation and testing for nursing staff with Education.
• Keeps education databases updated and supports ongoing educational activities.
• Works with the Director of Education on wound/ostomy education projects.
