Job summary

UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital - Gainesville is seeking a Wound Care RN to lead the wound care program and advance clinical protocols at our Gainesville, FL location. Per-diem/PRN schedule supports flexible hours for professional growth.

You will collaborate with medical leadership to improve wound outcomes, develop education modules, and guide staff competency across departments, contributing to exceptional patient care and program innovation.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• Previous hospital nursing experience required.
• Certified BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards of care across the hospital wound care program.
• Develop and update evidence-based wound care protocols and formulary.
• Collaborate with medical leadership on wound care initiatives and outcomes.
• Create educational modules for staff and families.
• Coordinate competency evaluation and training with Education department.
