Bay Harbor Post Acute and Healthcare Center in Maryland is seeking a Wound Care Nurse for a full-time daytime schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). The role provides skilled wound assessment and treatment, supports interdisciplinary care planning, and ensures compliance with clinical standards.

Applicants must hold an active Maryland RN or LPN license, BLS, and have at least 2 years of wound care in long-term care; wound care certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, active Maryland RN or LPN license.
• Wound care certification strongly preferred but not required.
• Valid BLS CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of wound care nursing experience in long-term care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident wound care per standards, orders, and care plans.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment in wound assessment and treatment.
• Deliver wound care treatments based on resident needs and best practices.
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and families.
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing and care team.
• Maintain timely documentation of wound assessments and outcomes.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support healing and prevention.
