Job summary

Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Maryland is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join our full-time team. The role focuses on skilled wound assessment, treatment, and interdisciplinary care planning in a Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care setting.

The position requires a current Maryland RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 2 years of wound care experience in long-term care. We offer a Monday–Friday 8 AM–4 PM schedule with comprehensive benefits and a supportive work

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland.
• Wound Care Certification strongly preferred, but not required.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of wound care experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with nursing standards, physician orders and care plans.
• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds with sound clinical judgment.
• Deliver wound care treatments based on resident needs and best practices.
• Deliver compassionate, person-centered care to residents and families.
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing and care team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments and outcomes.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support healing and continuity of care.
