Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians, developing wound care programs, educating staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN with active North Carolina license.
• Current Wound Care Certification and CPR.
• 1–2 years of wound care experience in a healthcare setting.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, patient-focused.
• Strong communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between wound specialist physician and nursing staff for care coordination.
• Develop and support Wound Care Program objectives.
• Lead ongoing wound care staff education and training.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining wound care policies and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive wound healing.
• Direct resident wound assessment, treatment, and follow-up as ordered by physician.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to promote healing and outcomes.
• Maintain communication with physicians for updates on resident care.
• Support regulatory surveys and inspections as directed by leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve wound care processes and resident outcomes.
