Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina is seeking a Wound Care/Treatment Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide expert wound care within our brand-new Pinehurst, NC facility. You will prepare patients for procedures, document treatments, educate patients on healing steps, and collaborate with the wound care doctor weekly.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina LPN or RN license.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for wound care using safety and clinical protocols.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records related to treatment documentation.
• Reinforce patient education as it relates to wound healing procedures.
• Perform daily wound healing procedures as required.
• Perform duties as directed by supervisor/medical director.
• Participate in quality improvement program.
• Participate in safety program.
• Maintain competencies, continuing education, and certifications as appropriate.
• Day-to-day maintenance of wound care equipment.
• Work closely with wound care doctor weekly.
