Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join the team at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. The role focuses on expert wound, skin, and ostomy care with an emphasis on improving patient outcomes and education for patients, families, and staff.

The position requires CWCN/WCC/WOCN certification, RN license in Maryland, and at least 1 year of wound care experience. BLS is required, and the role offers a part-time schedule with day shifts and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

Reliable RN license in good standing with Maryland Board of Nursing.
BLS certification required.
CWCN/WCC/WOCN certification required.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Wound Care Nurse.

Responsibilities

Assess wound, skin, and ostomy status across patient ages.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and management.
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate patient care.
