Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred).
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• CWCN, WCC or WOCN Certification required.
• At least one year of experience as a Wound Care Nurse.
• Current RN license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on clinical findings.
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding wound prevention and management.

What You Will Do

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
• CWCN, WCC or WOCN (Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing) Certification required
• At least one year of experience as a Wound Care Nurse
• Current RN license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing
• BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with patient handling and movement
• If not active in direct patient care within the past 5 years, must have completed a nursing refresher course
• Proficiency in English: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension

Pay rate

Pay rate: $40.99 - $61.49. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
