Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – Central Indiana Hancock Campus is seeking a Full-Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to evaluate wounds, monitor treatment, and provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting. The position requires Indiana licensure, ACLS/BLS as applicable, and strong communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Indiana RN or LPN Licensure in good standing.
• Wound Care Certification and Experience preferred.
• ACLS Certification (required for RN only)
• BLS Certification
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate wounds and monitor treatment per policies and procedures.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and co-workers.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
