AMG Specialty Hospital- Central Indiana Hancock Campus is seeking a Full-Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to evaluate wounds, monitor patient conditions, and provide care in a long-term acute care setting. ACLS/BLS may be required depending on role; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Indiana RN or LPN Licensure in good standing.
• Wound Care Certification and Experience preferred.
• ACLS Certification (required for RN only)
• BLS Certification
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate wounds and provide care per treatment policies and procedures.
• Monitor wounds and patient condition; communicate changes to physicians/cc/o/co-workers as appropriate.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting; perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision.

AMGSpecialtyHospital -Hancock Campus is seekingaFull-TimeWound Care Nurse(RNor LPN). The Wound Care Nurse evaluates new and existing in/outpatient's wound and monitors and treats the wound as per treatment policies andprocedures. Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-termacute care setting. Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers, asappropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results ofdiagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately tochanges in patient's condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequatesupervision.WouldCare certification and experience preferred!
