Job summary

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join our care team. The role requires an unrestricted RN license and involves planning, coordinating, and delivering nursing care and health education to residents.

You will work under the Director of Nursing with duties that emphasize compassionate, patient-centered wound care. The position includes establishing standards of care, documenting wound status, and coordinating skin and ostomy care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to residents.
• Assess, document, and rack "present on admission" wound issues
• Coordinate, negotiate, procure and manage skin and ostomy care
• Targets patients with complex wounds, and skin integrity issues external to organization
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives related to skin and ostomy care.
• Rotates in the nurse manager on-call rotation.

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

Wound Care Nurse must have an unrestricted RN license.

Wound Care Nurse Duties:

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing

Wound Care Nurse will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

Positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.

Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities:

The Wound Care Nurse establishes standards of care and clinical competencies

Assess, document, and rack "present on admission" wound issues

Establishes training programs to ensure competence

Coordinates, negotiate, procure and manage skin and ostomy care

Targets patients with complex wounds, and skin integrity issues external to organization

Participates in performance improvement initiatives related to skin and ostomy care.

Rotates in the nurse manager on-call rotation.
