Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. Must have an unrestricted RN license.

Wound Care Nurse duties include planning, coordinating, providing and managing nursing care, services and health education for residents. Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license.
• Experience with wound care preferred.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and educate residents.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.
• Establishes standards of care and clinical competencies.
• Assess, document, and rack "present on admission" wound issues.
• Coordinates, negotiate, procure and manage skin and ostomy care.
• Targets patients with complex wounds, and skin integrity issues external to organization.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives related to skin and ostomy care.
• Rotates in the nurse manager on-call rotation.
