Job summary

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation seeks a Registered Nurse to join our team in North Carolina. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education for residents.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, coordinating unit care, administering medications, transcribing orders, and assessing residents to develop care plans. We value patience, compassion, and empathetic resident care.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Registered Nurse license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Transcribe and coordinate physician orders implementation.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify changes to the physician.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize residents and prevent complications.

Applicant must have unrestricted Registered Nurse license.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the Registered Nurse may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
