Under supervision of the Director and Charge nurse, the RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on wound management and adherence to standards.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Two years of medical-surgical nursing experience required with knowledge of wound assessment, treatment planning and documentation.

Under the direct supervision of the Director and/or Charge nurse, performs the primary function of a registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in both the inpatient & outpatient settings; responsible for meeting standards of Wound Care practice set forth by regulatory agencies & nursing practice in the management of all assigned patients; assists medical staff with the development and implementation of wound treatment through consultation; plans & participates in performance improvement review activities; acts within the; guidelines of federal & state laws, Joint Commission standards, and professional & ethical practice.
