Healing Partners seeks a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to lead resident and staff wound care across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities. Travel is required within the local area, with day shifts Monday–Friday and a focus on comprehensive wound management.

The role includes evaluating care plans, prescribing treatments, debridement, patient education, and collaboration with the medical director to optimize healing outcomes. A current APRN license and NP program completion are required.

Qualifications

• Proof of Covid vaccination.
• Current RN license in the state.
• APRN license or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Master's degree in Nursing and NP certification.
• Board of Nursing approval to perform medical acts.
• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care.
• Daily travel to various facilities. Regions can vary based on scheduling needs.
• Examine and treat chronic and acute wound-related illnesses and injuries.
• Interpretation of diagnostic tests and follow-up recommendations.
• Refer to physicians, write prescriptions, and perform bedside wound care procedures.
• Work with the medical director in care and treatment of residents and staff.
• Debridement of wounds by various methods as needed on-site.
• Apply and manage topical wound care products.
