Job summary

AmeriWound Physicians IL is hiring Wound Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in the Champaign, IL area. The role offers part-time or full-time schedules with flexible start times, no evenings or weekends, and malpractice coverage.

Compensation projects at $170,000-$180,000 annually for full-time providers, with mileage reimbursement and a dedicated nurse support at each facility. EMR APRIMA is used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted state medical license.
• DEA license required.
• Two years solo practitioner experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities.
• Strong EMR documentation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Round weekly at assigned facilities within territory.
• Diagnose conditions via physical exam or telemedicine.
• Perform procedures such as debridement as needed.
• Communicate findings with facility staff and patients.
• Document each encounter in APRIMA EMR and maintain records.
• Facilitate referrals to other providers and facilities.
