Job summary
AmeriWound affiliate WoundMD PC is seeking Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers for wound care clinics in Lancaster, CA. Roles include weekly rounds, no evenings or weekends, with part-time or full-time options. EMR APRIMA, dedicated nurse, and mileage reimbursement are provided.
Licensure (MD/DO/PA/CRNP), active license, DEA, and a valid driver license are required. Salary ranges from $170,000 to $180,000 per year with uncapped W-2 earnings based on availability and productivity.
Qualifications
- MD/DO/PA/CRNP with active, unrestricted state medical license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- DEA license.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to build rapport with facility staff and patients.
- Proficiency documenting EMR with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Round weekly at assigned wound care clinic within territory.
- Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
- Perform medical procedures such as debridement as necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate with facility clinical staff.
- Document each patient encounter in EMR (APRIMA) and maintain records.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed.
