Job summary

AmeriWound LLC in Jacksonville, FL seeks Wound Care Physician or Advanced Practice Provider to join a dedicated wound care clinic. This role offers weekly rounds, no evenings or on-call, and flexible scheduling (2–5 days/week).

Qualifications

• MD, DO, PA, CRNP.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license.
• DEA license.
• Valid driver license.
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients.
• Proficient EMR documentation with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Round weekly at assigned wound care clinic within territory.
• Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
• Physical Demands: Standing and walking for long periods, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Perform medical procedures such as debridement as necessary.
• Communicate with facility staff about findings and treatments.
• Inform patients about diagnosis and treatment goals.
• Document each encounter in APRIMA EMR and maintain records on company laptop.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities as needed.
