Job summary

AmeriWound is hiring a Wound Care Physician or Advanced Practice Provider in Jacksonville, FL to support wound clinics. Rounding occurs 2-5 days a week with no evenings or weekends; part-time or full-time options.

Expect annual earnings in the range of $170,000–$180,000 for full-time, with comprehensive EMR use and dedicated nurse support. Position emphasizes hands-on patient care, telemedicine as needed, and seamless documentation via APRIMA, with malpractice coverage and mileage reimbursement

Qualifications

• MD, DO, PA, or CRNP licensed physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
• Board Certification or eligibility.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license and DEA license.
• Valid driver license and strong EMR documentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Round weekly at the wound care clinic within territory.
• Diagnose conditions via exam or telemedicine.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Perform procedures such as debridement as needed.
• Collaborate with facility staff and communicate treatment goals.
• Document encounters in APRIMA EMR and maintain records.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare providers when needed.
