Job summary

AmeriWound, LLC seeks wound care physicians or advanced practice providers in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers weekly rounds at a dedicated wound care clinic with no evenings, weekends, or on-call duties. Flexible Part-Time (2-3 days/week) or Full-Time (4-5 days/week) positions, with substantial earning potential.

Instruments and a dedicated nurse support the clinic; APRIMA EMR is used for documentation. Malpractice coverage and mileage reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, PA, CRNP.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license.
• DEA license.
• Valid driver license.
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients.
• Strong EMR documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Round weekly at wound care clinic within territory.
• Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
• Perform debridement and other necessary procedures.
• Communicate findings and treatments with facility staff.
• Document each encounter in APRIMA EMR.
• Facilitate referrals to other professionals.
