CareMed Health Solutions is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver wound care services to residents in long-term care facilities in Arkansas. You will prescribe medications per Arkansas law, order and follow up on treatments, and coordinate care with facility staff and the primary care physician.

The role emphasizes wound management expertise, interdisciplinary collaboration, and experience with EMR systems in facility-based settings. AR licensure and board certification are required.

Qualificações

• Current, unrestricted NP license in Arkansas.
• Board Certification.
• DEA licensure (Optional).
• Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties.
• Clinical background in wound care; including chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds.
• Comfortable diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed etiology wounds or Kennedy Ulcers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide wound care services for long-term care patients residing in skilled nursing facilities.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, including controlled substances in accordance with AR Law.
• Order, review, and/or follow-up with treatments and diagnostic testing.
• Communicate with the nursing home staff regularly to discuss changes in condition and care plans.
• Collaborate with the primary care physician.
