Job summary
CareMed is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver wound care and primary services for residents in long-term care facilities. The role requires an Ohio NP license, board certification, and experience with wound care, including wound vacs and DME.

Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted NP license in the state of Ohio.
- Board Certification.
- Clinical background in wound care for chronic/diabetic wounds.
- Experience with wound vacs and DME like pressure devices.
- Comfort diagnosing and treating Kennedy ulcers and various wound etiologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide wound care and primary services for long-term care patients.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with OH law (including controlled substances).
- Order and follow up on treatments and diagnostics.
- Communicate with nursing home staff about condition changes.
- Collaborate with primary care physician within interdisciplinary team.
