Job summary

CareMed Group in the United States seeks a skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide wound and primary care services for residents in long-term care facilities. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care and improve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted NP license in Ohio, board certification, and experience with chronic wounds, wound vacs, and advanced wound care products.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP license in Ohio.
• Board Certification.
• DEA licensure (Optional).
• Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties.
• Clinical background of wound care; including chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and primary services for long-term care patients residing in skilled nursing facilities.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, including controlled substances in accordance with OH Law.
• Order, review, and/or follow-up with treatments and diagnostic testing.
• Communicate with the nursing home staff on a regular and as needed to discuss changes in condition and the care plan.
• Collaborate with the primary care physician.
