Responsibilities

• Perform preventive skin care, dressing changes and wound care.
• Monitor resident turning and positioning.
• Document treatment of decubitus ulcers and communicate with physician/family.
• Make rounds with physician to discuss decubitus or catheter care.
• Assess weekly nutrition/hydration for ulcers and adjust intake as needed.
• Maintain clean treatment cart and restock supplies.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Take on special projects as assigned.
