RestorixHealth is seeking a Front Desk Medical Coordinator for our state-of-the-art wound care facilities. You will handle scheduling, precertification, insurance verification, and daily reconciliations while working closely with the billing and wound care teams.

The ideal candidate will have front desk experience in a medical setting, be tech savvy, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team. Ongoing training and a comprehensive benefits program are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a front desk role in a hospital outpatient or medical practice setting preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Exceptional customer service skills; ability to promote a positive environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Schedule HBO Therapy or wound care visits using hospital software/systems and RXH’s EMR system.
• Book appointments based on time, staffing, equipment and supplies.
• Confirm all registration information with the patient or responsible party.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain preauthorization for wound care procedures.
• Enter charge information into hospital charge entry systems per policies.
• Perform daily patient schedule reconciliations and account for outstanding superbills.
• Ensure patient satisfaction and provide professional support to patients and staff.
