RestorixHealth in New Jersey seeks a Front Desk Medical Coordinator for our wound care facilities. You will manage patient scheduling, verify insurance, precertifications, and entry charges, ensuring smooth operations and accurate coding support.

Ideal candidates have healthcare front desk experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to confidentiality, and a customer-focused approach. This role offers Monday-Friday shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a front desk role in a hospital outpatient or medical practice setting is preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Exceptional customer service skills, able to promote a positive environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, per HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule HBO Therapy or wound care visits using hospital software/systems and the EMR system.
• Book appointments based on time, staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Confirm all registration information with the patient or responsible party.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain preauthorization for wound care procedures.
• Record patient visit charges and perform daily reconciliations per policy.
• Maintain patient satisfaction and provide professional patient and staff support.
