St. Charles Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient- and family-centered care across multiple units.

The CNA will support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care in the electronic health record within a 24/7 hospital setting. The role requires Oregon CNA certification and BLS, with emphasis on teamwork, attention to detail, organization, and strong communication with the nursing team and patients.

Formación

• Required: Certified Nursing Assistant with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Strong teamwork and collaborative skills; attention to detail and organization.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain patient dignity.
• Take and document vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Respond to call bells promptly and ensure timely care.
• Maintain infection prevention and PPE protocols.
• Document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Transport patients, specimens, and equipment as needed.
• Perform duties as trained, including NG suction, EKG telemetry, and CPM/traction tasks.
