Job summary

Healogics, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide and coordinate clinical and clerical support under the supervision of RN or Provider at outpatient wound care centers.

The role requires completing pre-certifications, intake, documentation and patient data collection in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a CMA certification, a CMA program completion from CAAHEP/ABHES, strong organization, communication and computer skills, and a commitment to compliance with CMS

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required or current
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer service oriented with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/LPN during intake and discharge; collect vitals, measurements and data.
• Prepare, document and report treatment progress; assist in wound care procedures.
• Handle clerical duties: scheduling, insurance verification, billing documentation.
• Coordinate patient testing with hospital departments and maintain data entry in systems.
