Job summary

Hoffmantown Church in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Worship Pastor to shepherd the Worship Ministry in line with our church vision. You will lead worship, provide spiritual leadership, and supervise staff and volunteers across the ministry.

You will plan services with the Lead Pastor, direct weekly rehearsals, manage budget and ministry growth, and develop teams. Ordination or willingness to be ordained is required, with 5+ years of worship-leading experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in Worship leading and supervising.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a certified institution; master’s degree preferred.
• Ordination required or willing to be ordained.
• Competent in choral/orchestral conducting.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a God-called, qualified pastor as defined in scripture.
• Leads and provides godly leadership to the Worship Ministry.
• Manages recruiting, developing, training, placing, and evaluating worship ministry staff and volunteers.
• Delivers complete, well-rounded rehearsals for the Worship Choir, Praise Team, and other ensembles weekly.
• Oversees budget and technical aspects of worship media and equipment.
• Plan, prepare and evaluate worship services with the Lead Pastor, including scripture readings and prayers.
