Job summary

Journey Community Church is seeking an experienced Worship Pastor to lead engaging worship services and oversee the Worship and Creative ministry team. This role requires pastoring staff and volunteers and ensuring musical excellence across services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong faith, gifting in worship, and experience working on a church staff to coordinate creative ministry activities and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experienced Worship Leader (preferably from a larger church).
• Experience pastoring staff and volunteers.
• Musical proficiency, both vocal and instrumental (guitar/keys).
• Proficiency in Ableton or other DAWs for track playback.
• Knowledge and experience with Planning Center Online.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging worship services and coordinate musical elements.
• Pastor staff and volunteers within the Worship and Creative ministry.
• Collaborate with church staff to align creative ministry across teams.

Journey Community Church is looking for an experienced Worship Pastor who can help create engaging worship services while pastoring the staff team along with volunteers who make up our Worship and Creative ministry. This is person should first and foremost love Jesus and their family above all. They should desire to point people to Jesus. They should have experience leading the ministry and hopefully working on a staff team to make sure all areas of the Creative ministry are done well.
