Job description

Journey Church, a vibrant and growing church of 350 located in beautiful Conway, New Hampshire, is seeking a dynamic Worship Pastor/Director to join our team! This role is vital to the ministry of our church and will make a real impact on the lives of our people, our church, and our community.

Responsibilities

• Develop the worship team and oversee all aspects of planning and executing audio and visual elements for Sunday worship services and special services.
• Recruit and train new worship team members, organize weekly rehearsals, select appropriate songs, and manage equipment used in worship.
• Work hands‑on, using and developing skills for project management, event planning, developing leaders, and evaluation to ensure long‑term ministry health.
• Participate in the weekly staff team meetings, contributing to planning, awareness, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, certification in ministry or equivalent.
• Some experience in worship ministry in a local church context.
• Vibrant relationship with Jesus, collaborative approach and team mentality.
• Track record of consistency and reliability.
• Licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.
